We will incentivize teachers through two approaches:
Our first approach to incentivizing teachers will be communicating the reasons and benefits of becoming supervisors. These include:
In addition to communicating the benefits of supervising students, we can also incentivize teachers through another approach.
A secondary avenue to incentivize teachers to become supervisors is rewarding the teachers with useful classroom tools, such as a laptop, after a continued period of supervision.
For example, after 50% of the technology curriculum has been covered, the teachers who have remained as supervisors all throughout this time can be given a laptop to help with administrative and classroom work.
This way, teachers can benefit in a tangible way from remaining as a supervisor. They can apply the digital skills taught by the technology curriculum to their own lives with the laptops. Our proposed incentivization plan is as allows:
